Nina Barker

Nina brings over 20 years of expertise in the residential sector, focusing on sales, marketing, and development consultancy.

Nina, equipped with her knowledge and experience, joined the team in 2024 to enhance the residential sales strategy and lead the development of Rushbond’s new residential arm, Fallowdale Homes.

Rosie Mason

Rosie is an experienced Management Accountant dedicated to continuous learning and professional growth. Leveraging a decade of expertise in the motor trade, Rosie recently joined the team in 2022. Bringing with her a wealth of knowledge and understanding of accounting she has been eager to embark on exploring a new sector, embracing fresh challenges and striving for excellence.

Ian Ball

Ian joined the business in 2023 as Chief Executive. Ian’s appointment is a central part of the evolution of Rushbond’s strategy both to grow its business, including its development and investment portfolio, and continue to transform places and buildings. Ian has a variety of experience in real estate having worked in private equity, banking and PLC real estate businesses.

Alice Croucher

Alice Croucher has just shy of 10 years’ experience in Real Estate Agency located in Leeds City Centre as a Senior Property Manager, after which she worked in Business Development Management as Lettings Manager in Headingly. The fabric of Leeds has changed considerably over the last 10 years and Alice has been heavily involved with the cities exciting evolution. Alice calls Leeds her home and enjoys contributing her efforts into considerately maintaining and improving buildings within the portfolio, including significant heritage assets, for the wellbeing of Rushbond’s residents, and in turn, wider Leeds.

Nigel Wilkinson MBE

Nigel has a huge wealth of experience and talent in both business and finance. His advice has been instrumental to the growth of Rushbond since its early days, in setting the financial structure and foundations for the development of the business for over 25 years. As Managing Director of Winander Leisure Limited and with directorships of Winander Group Holdings Limited, Lakeland Motor Museum Limited and Cumbria Tourism, Nigel has tremendous expertise in corporate finance and business management with particular and special skills in the tourism and hospitality sectors. Formerly a partner in Garbutt & Elliott Chartered Accountants, in 2004 he became Managing Director of Windermere Lake Cruises Limited – Cumbria’s most popular visitor attraction with circa 1.5 million passengers (2015). Nigel has a deep-seated passion about the business interests of the Lake District, being Chair of the Lake District Business Task Force and as such sitting on the Lake District National Park Partnership.

Jonathan Maud

As the founder and Managing Director of Rushbond plc. Jonathan has spearheaded the company’s year-on-year growth since the company began in 1986. Jonathan has led the company’s work on the restoration of heritage properties as well as the creation of new buildings, with a true emphasis on design and quality, developing distinctive places and spaces.

Georgina Maud

Design is at the heart of everything we do. Georgina brings a blended set of creative and property skills to the work across our investment and development portfolio. Georgina’s academic record combines a BSc (Hons) degree in Rural Estate Management with a MA degree in History and Business of Art and Collecting. Equally Georgina has worked in both the public and private sectors in the arts world together with time spent in the creative department of a major London and New York hotel company.

Richard Baker

Since Richard joined the team in March 2006, he’s done a fantastic job as our Development Surveyor – taking care of the marketing of our new projects and putting them on the map. Formerly an Associate Director at Dacre Son & Hartley, he has an extensive knowledge of the West Yorkshire commercial market place particularly in the workspace sector.

Nimble Thompson

Nimble is on hand to offer his expert guidance and the benefit of his wealth of experience gained through an exceptional career.

As well as being one of our Non-Executive Directors, Nimble is also currently the Deputy Chairman of the Institute of Directors, having been appointed to their Board in 2008. He has previously held positions as Regional Chairman for IoD Yorkshire, the Vice-Chairman of international law firm Eversheds and the Chairman of NG Bailey plc. He now also holds non-executive director positions at Henderson Insurance Brokers Ltd and Skipton Building Society.

Richard Powell

We were pleased to welcome Richard to our team in 2014 into the important role of Finance and Commercial Director for the Group. Before joining us, Richard had been employed as Head of Commercial Development and Company Secretary at Q-Park Limited for twelve years.

Tom Bradburn

Tom is our Portfolio Manager having joined in October 2017 and is responsible for overseeing the day to day asset management across the investment portfolio, including income enhancing and risk mitigation opportunities.

Formerly an Associate at Savills in London, Tom has extensive experience providing property management and Landlord and Tenant advice to a range of clients including institutional funds and regional property companies. Tom is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Richard Gough

A Project Manager within the Rushbond team since 2016 and a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Richard works with our contractors and professional teams to turn our development plans into reality. Richard is very much focused on getting the best possible results from our contractors and for our purchasers and occupiers.

James Dinsley

James joined Rushbond in September 2021 following six years at Avison Young (formerly GVA Grimley) where he began his career in the real estate industry in the Planning & Development team. During his time there, he was responsible for land and property sales, planning consultancy work as well as independent viability instructions on behalf of both private and public sector clients.

In his role with us at Rushbond, James is responsible for the analysis and acquisition of investment and development opportunities across the full range of property types within the Yorkshire region. He is also involved in asset management, seeking to minimise voids and establish value-add opportunities within our income portfolio.

Mike J Hartley

Mike joined the team as Director of Development in 1995 and has recently become a non-executive Director. He has a wealth of experience in working across the region on a wide variety of properties and deals. Mike was previously a Regional Board Director of CBRE, Chartered Surveyors, and worked within the Leeds City Council Estates Department.
